Brief Introduction about Dr Harish Gowda :

Dr. Harish is a surgeon by profession, born into a middle-class family in 1984. Hailing from a village background, he completed his schooling in Nidasale Village, Kunigal Taluk, Tumkur district. Through sheer dedication and hard work, he joined the prestigious Bangalore Medical College for his MBBS and pursued MS at Mysore Medical College. To fine tune his surgical skills he visited various hospitals across India and got adept knowledge. For about 12 years, he served as an Associate Professor of Surgery at KIMS and BOWRING Hospital, where his organizational skills and teaching abilities earned him recognition as a motivational teacher for young students. Driven by his keen interest in social causes and saving lives, he cultivated his social awareness and developed a vision for social development.

In Bangalore, he honed his skills by working innovatively and bringing about positive change in the medical fraternity. Known for his dedication to impoverished patients, where he served in various hospitals. Dr. Harish's true intention to transform medical education and healthcare led him to become the Secretary of the Surgical Society Bangalore. Even during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, he remained committed to serving the people and actively participated in various social activities aimed at bringing about a positive change in health.

His motto is to provide high-quality healthcare at an affordable cost. Driven by his genuine desire to bring about change in health and education, he established the HIMAS Charitable Trust, with education and health as its two primary focuses. Despite his busy schedule, he dedicates himself to social causes and bringing about positive change in society. His hobbies include social service, raising public awareness, and motivating students. His strengths can be summarized as dedication, dignity, and discipline.
